Another week of organization is upon us! I’m still enjoying the tasks and am still motivated each day to tackle my 15 minute challenge. I love the feeling of successfully clearing out a cupboard or drawer and making it more functional in only a few minutes each day. It makes it a little less overwhelming that way!
In Week 2, we focused on our kitchen cupboards. We all have those cupboards that are jam packed with crap and a lot of times, you have no idea what’s actually in there. For me that was under my kitchen sink! I use a really great concentrated cleaner that is diluted in different amounts to make various cleaning formulas so I really only have a few spray bottles under there. It was everything else! I found all kinds of fun stuff at the back of the cupboard that had no business being there so it was nice to clear things out and make that area more spacious and functional.
You can join in and get caught up by visiting the 52 Weeks To An Organized Home Challenge. This week, we’re going to be focusing on the pantry, spices and food storage areas of our home. I think this will be an easy one for me because those areas are pretty bare in our house. I try to meal plan and only buy what we need for the week to avoid wasting food so sometimes things in the pantry tend to look sparse even though we definitely aren’t starving! Check out the tasks for Week 3 and get yourself a printable pantry list.
