I struggle with fashion at the best of times although I have gotten significantly better since Pinterest came into my life. Now, I just feel as though the cards are stacked against me.
I’m in the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy, with an energetic toddler, at Christmas time. See, it just doesn’t bode well for me getting out of sweat pants! I haven’t been leaving the house much these days which really cuts down the need for me to actually get dressed (although it would probably be a good habit to get into) but there are those times that I venture in public that I want to look at least half decent. I played around a bit today with some different outfit ideas and this combines many of my go-to maternity items and adds just enough sparkle and colour to make them festive while remaining comfy enough to be practical.
Functional black maternity tee, chunky neutral cardigan, sparkly leggings with cozy socks, bright red scarf, jingle bell earrings and comfy, black boots make for an outfit that you can still breathe and move in while pregnant, while making it look like you put a little effort in. And at this point, I’m all about making as little effort as possible!
