If you’re a parent, you probably know what it’s like to go into a screaming baby’s room in the middle of the night and blindly feel around for the sookie (soother, pacifier, dummy, paci, whatever the hell you call it) in the dark. I’m sure it’s a right of passage or something. Babies don’t give a crap that you’re trying either. Apparently patience is not something they’re born with.
Anything that makes times like those just a tiny bit easier on a sleep deprived mama like myself is fine by me! I was pretty excited when I got the opportunity to give these glow in the dark pacifier clips by Baby Goose a try for a number of reasons. Keep reading to find out my thoughts or if you’re more of a visual person, check out the video further down the page.
The first reason being the obvious solution to the scenario above. Second, my son Alex loses every sookie in the house no matter how diligently I keep my eye on it. I’m going to move a piece of furniture someday to find his secret stash of 80 sookies. Having one attached to him at all times is very convenient and will save me money on sookies. Third, am I the only one who still thinks anything is just plain cool when it glows in the dark? Maybe it’s just because I’m a child of the 80’s.
After having used them for a while, I can confidently say that I’m very pleased with these pacifier clips. They are well made and come in adorable patterns. The clip is very sturdy and once you activate the fabric to glow in the dark (by holding it up to a light source for a few seconds) the amount of “glow” that it gives off is impressive. The piece that attaches to the pacifier itself is made of a rubbery silicon material which stretches to fit all of the major brands of pacifiers. As an added bonus, it’s really easy to clean as I discovered when Alex covered it in peanut butter.
