I love a good Pinterest project, especially when they actually work out! I’ve seen this done quite a few times by various bloggers and YouTubers so I felt inspired to try it myself.
This project could not be easier! You don’t need any fancy tools of expensive things to pull this vase together.
Here’s what I used:
- Square, glass vase – I got mine at a thrift store for $1.99! I got purple but you can get clear or whatever you like.
- 3 large fake flowers. I loved these ones but you could get any type of flower you prefer! You can even use real flowers if you want to.
- Paper, printer & something to cut the design out with.
- Glue or double sided tape.
I googled “Chanel No 5” and found an image of the classic logo that you see on the perfume bottle and since that’s the look I was trying to achieve, that’s the one I used! I had to open it in a word processor and resize it a bit to get the size I wanted but that was quick and easy peasy. Print your logo, cut to size, and you’re off to the races!
As you can see, I used my paper cutter because I can’t be trusted to cut a straight line. It’s a curse. I also cut the stems of the flowers using wire cutters and that’s pretty much the most difficult stuff all finished!
Once you’ve got your paper label and your flowers ready, the only thing left to do is stick it to your vase and you’re done! Originally, I used double sided tape and stuck the label to the inside of the vase but that seemed to magnify the tape through the glass so I swapped tactics and stuck it to the outside and I love the way that it looks!
It’s a very simple project that costs less than $10 and takes less than 10 minutes! I feel like it adds a nice touch to the decor of the room and you could easily switch up the whole look by changing out the flowers.
Let me know how yours turns out!
